Maastricht has the ambition to become Cultural Capital of Europe in 2018, together with the Euroregion Meuse-Rhine. The bid is supported by Aachen (D), Heerlen, Sittard-Geleen, Eupen (B), Liège (B) Hasselt (B), Tongeren (B), Genk (B), Sint-Truiden (B), the Regio Aachen (D), the Province of Belgian Limburg, the Province of Dutch Limburg, the Province of Liège and the German-speaking Community of Belgium
Maastricht heeft de ambitie om samen met de Euregio Maas-Rijn Culturele Hoofdstad van Europa 2018 te worden. De kandidatuur heeft de steun van Aken, Luik, Hasselt, Tongeren, Heerlen, Sittard-Geleen, Genk, Sint-Truiden, de Provincie Limburg (NL), de Regio Aken, de Provincie Limburg (B), de Provincie Luik en de Duitstalige Gemeenschap België.
Maastricht a pour ambition de devenir Capitale Européenne de la culture en 2018, ensemble avec l'Euregio Meuse-Rhin. La candidature est soutenue par Aix-la-Chapelle, Liège, Hasselt, Tongres, Heerlen, Sittard-Geleen, Genk, Saint-Trond, la Province du Limbourg (NL), la Province du Limbourg (B), la Province de Liège et la Communauté germanophone de Belgique.
Maastricht und die Euregio Maas-Rhein haben die Ambition, zusammen Kulturhauptstadt Europas 2018 zu werden.
